We co-locate our equipment in a secure, state-of-the-art data center, only minutes away from our office. with the following features: Physical Security  Access card and biometric palm scan required for entry 24 x 7 Closed-Circuit Video Monitoring (Outside & Inside) Individually Locked Cabinets Internet Connection  We currently have a direct, redundant, high bandwidth connectivity to the internet backbone.  Our bandwidth utilization is continuously monitored so we are able to keep our customers' websites running efficiently even during the Internet's busiest periods. Power N+1 electrical design and distribution In case power is temporally interrupted, our equipment is backup up by an Eaton 9390 UPS (Uninterruptible power supply). If outside power is cut or unavaliable, the facility is powered by a 1 MW Cummings Diesel Generator with Automatic Transfer Switches that ensure smooth transition to backup power within 2 seconds of failure. Environment Controls Redundant Air Conditioning Units to keep the temperature at 72 degrees (+/- 6 degrees), and Humidity at 50% (+/- 10%) FM-200® is a chemical fire suppression system that is dry-piped. If smoke detectors sense the presence of fire in the protected facility. The detection and control panel then sounds an alarm, shuts down air handlers, disconnects power from the protected equipment, and then releases agent into the protected area. Network Security We incorporate the latest technologies in IDS (Intrusion Detection System) to monitor and protect our networks against malicious attacks. In addition, our servers are protected behind internal firewalls and monitoring software. Network Monitoring The HTTP port on every server is monitored to verify they are active. In the event that a port is unreachable, an email and text message is automatically sent to every member of our technical staff, so appropriate action can be taken. For faster response times, we are also capable of remotely accessing and rebooting any device in our network. Our Equipment All of our equipment is housed in our locked private cabinet that can only be accessed by our authorized staff who know the combination. Routers / Switches To ensure network uptime, we have a primary router with another identical router on 'hot standby' in case of failure. If failure occures the 'hot standby' router will automatically take over. We use a gigabit switch with a switching capacity of 48.0 Gbps. We keep an identical replacement switch already mounted and configured for a quick change over, should failure occur to the primary unit. Servers Our 2U racked servers are built with the highest quality components and are easily accessible if a repair is needed. We keep an complete inventory of spare server parts on site in case of a component failure. Data Backups Each morning at 3:00am every server is backed up to an internal drive, then that data is copied to a backup server. For security, one day per week, the backups are copied to an external hard drive and moved off-site to a fire-proof bank vault. In case of a disaster, we have duplicate copies of your data on four separate drives in two different physical locations, located over ten miles apart.
